Here's a new scammer to add to the list:

jirro22

He sold me a clutch/flywheel that he assured me was in xlnt condition with less than 10k miles on them. When my mechanic (Tony Fuchs) got the parts he said that they were totally useless and in worse shape than my current one with 60k miles on it. (Including at least 10k track miles)

When I told this to Jiro, he refused to give me my $$ back and insisted that the parts were fine and in xlnt shape. I explained to him that the most respected S2000 mechanic in town called his parts "unusable garbage", but Jiro insists he knows better than Tony... at least when it comes to honoring his word about his parts.

I've lost my $$$ as this guy is clearly not going to stand behind his word.

I just want to warn the rest of you not to do business with this person, you will probably regret it.

Thanks Allejandro... here's a new twist.

He says that the reason he can't refund my $$ is because he knows he sold me good parts and he thinks I'm going to try and give him back some other parts.

(regardless of the fact that they're identical to the photos posted in his ad ...)

It's one thing to rip me off... yet another to have the nerve to accuse me of trying to rip him off!

The best defense is a good offense.

drewchie...

you inspect the parts i sold you in person before you paid me, and you were late also for about an hour in our meeting place in LA..and you even wanna trade me for a track day for those clutch kit and flywheel...

i say its all good parts because it was removed from my06 while its on full good running condition... again i wanna quote you when you said that (thers no burns on the clutch, which is ur main concern, when you inspect it under the lights, and all it has is normal wear)..you should have not said that...

also, i said its on good working condition used for about 8-9kmiles (around there)...and i told you that i only remove it because a got a 4.4fg upgrade on my car and i thought maybe i should change my clutch and flywheel to something more aggrasiive....overall, i know thers nothing wrong with it ..its used with normal wear but nothing wrong. and you are aware you are buying a used parts and definitely used parts has some flaws..

pls check my post on the for sale...

drew i didnt force you to buy it, i even drove an extra miles for you coz u were late from our meeting....you check and inspect it before buying it, and you said its good, and now u said its bad after about a week...i am not accusing you that you switch my parts but its a possibility.

i am not a scammer i am just fighting for what i think is right...

return the man his money and take your clutch if it's only been used for 8000 miles.

Um... again only half truth...

1) we were both late from traffic and only because you had changed the meeting time.

2) it was very dark, and I could barely see the parts in a dark parking lot at night. I took your word that they were good.

3) Tony Fuchs says that the parts were in worse shape than the set that came out of my 60K mile car. I don't know how you could have messed up these parts so quickly if you're telling the truth about them being under 10k miles of use, but the point is that they're no good... PERIOD. I ended up buying a new disc, and reusing my old pressure plate because even at 60k miles it was in better condition than yours.

You still maintain that these parts are in good working order. A very qualified S2000 mechanic says they are not. Yes I bought them used so I guess I'm the stupid sucker who trusted you. Legally I'm an idiot and you owe me nothing, but stop telling people that these parts are good... they're TOAST!

I just want everyone else around here to know what your "word" is worth... NOTHING.

If they want to do business with you after you clearly misrepresented parts to me... it's up to them.

For you to claim that I would try to switch bad parts in for the ones you sold me is hysterical. I've been doing business with folks on this board for many years and I can give countless examples of mostly satisfied customers. The few that weren't completely satisfied got full or partial refunds until they were happy. My word and name are worth something to me, and anyone doing business with me on this board knows that I stand behind my word and my products.

They also now know where you stand... BUYER BEWARE!!!

I'm done now.

I bought jirro's short shifter off him and didnt have any issues with anything. actually it was a very smooth transaction. he shipped the shifter out promptly and kept in phone contact with me the whole time. even when I had issues installing it he guided me thru. I guess its a difficult situation to be between the both of you between buyer and seller but I just wanted to say my dealings with him went very well.
