DETAILED: 2003 Spa Yellow AP1
I got the car 5 days ago with 19,000 miles. The paint is pretty flawless, minus just a few rock chips, but the paint had not been waxed since coming off the lot. The paint was pretty dry and had a decent amount of swirls. Nothing crazy, but I want the pearl to really POP, and the swirls were not helping that. So I went to work.
Spent 9 hours on the paint:
-First I washed with Meguiars Gold Class
-Then clayed with Mother's clay bar kit
-Polished with Menzerma Super Intensive
-Sealed with Race Glaze
-Topped off with Colonite Insulator Wax for a deep, lasting shine (sounds like a line from an ad... )
Got rid of almost every little scratch, no more swirls, and the pearl really pops now. I'm pumped!
The wheels will be coming off some day this week to do a full cleaning/waxing, along with cleaning up the brakes. But for the pictures I just used some Meguiars Quick Detail spray.

car looks great! if i might add though. honda paint is very soft! super intensive polish is a medium cut i just would have followed up with a finer polish to get the most gloss out of it. have you ever tried blackfire wet diamond btw? stuff is a great sealant. order a bottle sometime and i promise you will never use another wax/sealant ever again. keep up the good work there is nothing better then sitting back and looking at a hard days work of polishing.
