NRG 2.5 Quick Release(SRK-250BK) and an NRG Short Hub(SRK-130H)

This setup is just about stock. I didn't take measurements but it's damn close. Wheel is a flat bottomed / no dish Sparco model # R353

Decent price and great quality SnapOff.com Steering Wheel Quick Release
After having my NRG hub fail (lock up became inconsistent, and would lock further after driving for a while) I went with a Snapoff hub. Very pleased with it. I tried to get ahold of NRG to warranty the hub as it was only 3 months old. Emails, phone calls, and voicemails, and I never got a single response. If you want to support a company that will literally not respond to you or provide any support, then buy NRG and gamble. I'll personally never buy another NRG product again. $100 completely wasted.

Which one did you get? How close is it to stock positioning? Closer? Further away from you? Does it have SRS defeat? Thanks!
It seems like NRG is hit or miss and it is luck of the draw in terms of if you get a good one or not.... I think I am leaning towards bell works or Snap off.

With an NRG short hub, and the snap off quick release, I had to put a 1" spacer on it to get it back to the position the NRG quick release had. The snap off QR is pretty thin. I just got the street version, whatever hub you buy deals with the airbag, not the quick release. I ordered my snapoff from murraymotorsports overseas. It was much cheaper. IIRC about $160 shipped.

I've had the NRG 2.5 for about 5 years and it hasn't been an issue yet. I don't drive the car often though, so that might have something to do with it.
