They were removed because they didn't do any/enough actual moderation. If you aren't moderating your assigned forum(s) then you dump the load to the other moderators. We have multiple moderators in each forum to lighten the load. If you don't pull your weight in that regard then you aren't helping but rather hurting by requiring the other moderators to hold up your end. We would rather that all of the moderators contribute to the chore of moderating making the task less demanding and burdensome for all concerned.

If there are 3 mods in a forum and the vast majority of the dirty work is being done by only 2 of them then it's time to replace the one who isn't producing with someone who will. That's only fair to the co-moderators. We evaluate moderators based on the share of the load they carry not their PPD. We also evaluate them on their people skills and their ability to get things done with the least amount of drama.

Now and then we sit down and reevaluate the moderation situation. We figure out which forums need more, which need less, who's carrying the load and who's not. We then reorganize the moderation resources to meet the needs we see. This is one of those times.

cthree... Now that your done talking out your a$$, I think you need to go back and look at who's really doing their job as a mod. I totally find everything you say to be backwards. When I go to a board I like to see mods that are involved and easy to get along with instead of being pricks. I think someone went on a power trip and thats the explanation.

If you think Rachael wasnt doing her job you really need to open your eyes. Let me tell you how a typical day is for her. She goes to work (and not a cushy desk job with her feet up on the desk) has no way (or not supposed) to get on the net at work and still manages to get on to make sure everything is ok. Once she gets home, no matter how tired she is first thing she does when she walks in the door is sit down and makes sure her forum is running smoothly. Lately there hasnt been much moderation needed in there and she still moves threads around and does whats needed.

Say whats you want, but your reason isnt good enough for me, because its not the truth. I really dont care if you like what I have to say or not this is my opinion on the whole matter.

I agree with everyone else "Quik S2K" is a great mod. Too bad the admins cant see that.

I also think it's funny how she is a Site Mod on the MR2 Board (several years now) and yet she gets along with almost everyone there. If there was a problem here she should have been given a reason through PM or a chance to improve (on what I dont know) but to just de-mod with no warning is chicken $hit IMO. I can forward you all the PM's shes got in support of her, that alone should speak for itself.

Anyways im done...I'll stick to my UN-MODDED "Street Encounter" forum. Thanks

I know a lot of pricks on this board... can I recommend them for a Moderator position?

I guess this has gone as far as it's gonna go. If you all want to discuss the policies of the board or the decisions that are made that's fine. When you start being vulgar and insulting that's the end of the line.
