Flywheel Question
I want to buy a flywheel for my car. What do you guys think about Fidanza?? or should I get Comptech?? I realized that Toda and Spoon are a lot more expensive. Are they worth it?? I also need a place to get my parts installed. Do you guys know any good place?? I live in Boca Raton. The parts I need to get installed are:
V-AFC II
Spoon Exhaust w/ Testpipe
Groung Wiring Kit
Springs
Slotted Rotors
Sturt Bar
A-Pillar with Oil Temp and Oil Pres.
The Flywheel and the ACT Clutch Kit
I need a place with Dyno...

MTS auto can install everything. Personally, I would return the ground wiring kit, they don't do anything to boost performance

No Dyno, but he can install everything. then you can get it tuned

I used MCA Motorsports. Ask for Mike. I would go with the Toda flywheel. The Fidanza flywheel is two parts with a lot of screws. He charged $400 for install on the ACT clutch and flywheel.

I've had the Comptech flywheel for almost a year now and like it. Toda is lighter / more aggressive, but I haven't driven an S with one, so I can't vouch for the difference. Several ppl. on this board have the Toda, and recommend it.
both the Toda and the Comptech are excelent. the weight of both wheels is almost the same, however the distribution of the weight is different, the toda has it's weight near the center and the comptech brings the weight out to the edges. The reason behind this is the toda cannot be re-surfaced. When you change the clutch you may need to change the flywheel. The comptech can be resurfaced. That's why I went that route. Both flywheels allow the car to spool up faster than stock.
