The OEM battery in my MY 2000 car lasted about 15 months and was replaced with a WestCo battery. Honda gave me a goodwill $55 credit for the failed battery.

Has anybody had any problems getting this MRI light to turn off? I followed the directions in the Owners Manual (and above) and I just keep holding the Trip button and the light doesn't go off. This is going to sound stupid, but the LOCK position on the ignition is the point at which the power in the car comes on right? It's the same point where you can press the Start button and start the car, right? Otherwise, you don't see any of the lights and so you wouldn't see the MRI turn off.

Make sure the car is completely off (key out if it makes you happy), then press and hold the button. Turn the key on, wait about 10 seconds (light will be flashing during this time), continue holding button. Once the light goes off, you're done.
