Well no idea how my condo or sailboat faired but my car is fine. I cleared off my patio, tied off my boat and ran out of dodge as the storm was making landfall - at the time right where I lived is where we thought it would hit. Right now I am in Atlanta at my girlfriend's house and we are heading up into the mountains tomorrow. Will most likely come back with nails and figer impressions in my right door panel as she is not too keen on fast driving.

On way up saw about 7 speed traps in Florida and the new radar detector worked like a charm. Willl see everyone at BB in a week or so.

Well heading up to Cherokee, NC or Gatlinburg, TN tomorrow so chao for now.

Peder

I am ok too. No hit from what I understand. I went to St. Pete. for the weekend. Glad to hear everyone is back with us. Good luck to those that have some cleanup.

In my office, we lost internet access. I love the irony, since we're an internet company.

OMFG. I _just_ got power back now. After sitting outside watching the War of the Worlds effect in the nighttime sky and trees crashing around me and my house (on 50% of the roof) I'm glad it's just only this bad. There's still so much work to be done in terms of clean up, and I'm just exhausted. The air is just starting to get cool now, and I'm going to jump in the shower.

Hope for those in Louisana and for those still without power.
