Thanks for the replies guys, I'm going to take the plunge and take my chances. I noticed the '06 is getting different seats, wonder if these will take care of the seat theft problem??
Yeah Honda made the new seats so ugly that the ricer punks don't want them anymore.

one other thing, consider a car cover for you car when it's parked, then most people won't know what is underneath the cover, but keep lots of wax ont he car and take the cover off when you're in town

Here is an even better idea. Buy a BMW Z3 car cover so when car theves pass buy your car at night they dont give it a second look b/c they think its a Z3

Another consideration is where you park it at the airport -- it could be more vulnerable there than at your condo. I'll second or third the idea of a car cover -- and suggest a third-party one that doesn't have S2000 emblazoned on it. HPH

I plan on keeping my Honda Accord. What i'm thinking is the accord will be my airport car and the s2k will stay parked at home with the alrm, cover & seat locks. I have some neighbors which I highly trust and Im thinking of leaving the keys with them while I'm away. Man, I wanted to buy this s2k to have fun and relieve some stress, I have a feeling it's going to do just the opposite!! Maybe i'm better off with a "less" desirable car like a Miata........NAH.

I hadn't heard about the new seats for 2006, so I did a quick search. I'm sure that this has been posted before, but following is an article for those who haven't read about the changes to the '06 (there are pics of the new seats, rims, etc)...

S2000 Changes in 2006

Other changes for '06 include standard headrest speakers, re-designed rims, outside temp gauge, addition of Laguna Seca blue exterior, etc. With all the cosmetic changes, I can't believe they didn't add auto-lock on the glovebox. I hate locking that thing every time I leave the top down.

Those seats look like the ones I had in my old Prelude.

Those seats look kinda nasty. I like the old ones with the Mesh in the head rest...
