Happened on I-95

I got pulled over by Mo and Curly (2 guys from the 3 stooges). Get approached from both sides and ask me the same shit and then they tell me
that they pulled me over for tint. I was thinking the whole time "bored" and "nothing better to do". I will admit that I have illegal tint and
my entire windshield is tinted also, but that one is very light. So they spend 15 minutes easily measuring the side window which was 12% and its
supposed to be at least 28% ... I never really was good with numbers. They don't have a device for the front windshield so they kept looking at
from inside the car (leaning in) and from the outside numerous times. They kept asking me about the tint on my front windshield like 5 times and
I kept bullshiting..... I bought the car used which I did and I don't know anything about it, etc. etc.


My bro was saying they were looking for air bubbles but my window was very dirty but if it was clean my bro said to spray water with the wipers
and that will make it confusing also.

At the end got a warning cause I was wearing scrubs and told them I was a pharmacy student. They said I have 48 hrs to fix it and send in the
paperwork. Also I was very nice and didn't argue and was respectful, I got pulled over a month ago and got a warning also.

Also I dont know if it was a new cop that was driving cause the passenger was in jeans and maybe he was the trainer. The passenger cop did all
writing and paperwork and shit. At the end got a warning but won't take the tint off, had the cars for over 3 years and this is the first time
any cop did anything so they were obviously bored.

You have illegal tint, why are you surprised you got pulled over? You also have your windshield tinted, which is illegal. They must have seen something else that prompted them to want to pull you over such as driving fast or taking a corner quickly (happened to me). There's got to be more to the story, I've had 20% tint on all my vehicles and never been pulled over for just that.

 

There is no "more to the story" ...... i have been pulled over 4 times and driven that car for over three years and never had a problem. I also wasn't speeding or else they would have given me a speeding ticket or told me that. Bottom line, they were bored as f@#k and didnt have anything else to do. There are cops all the time on the highway and either they drive past me or i drive in front of them and nobody pulled me over.

Obviously if I have illegal tint then I am asking to get pulled over .... but just questioning me over and over and over again over tint. Just write me a ticket or give me a warning ..... so i can go on with my life .... lol

 

"nothing else to do"... "bored"... That's what they get paid to do. Driving is a privilege not a right. If you'd follow a simple rule, such as a tint law... They wouldnt harass your poor innocent self. They give you a warning and then you come on a forum to talk crap about them. Why didn't you speak your mind on scene?

 

I'm confused! Who is MO and Curly? Did you have a passenger?

 

I was joking around cause I called the 2 cops Mo cand Curly. They are 2 of the 3 guys of the three stooges. I was just saying how they spent
a lot of time and checking the tint on my window with the device like 4 or 5 times.

You should watch a few shows of the three stooges, they are pretty funny
