There you have it. They put 60lbs in aero and suspension/chassis reinforcement. Main points of upgrade on the CR: Aero, Body, Chassis, & Tires. Therefore you wont get the full performance of a CR just by switching out the struts to CR struts and adding a wing. Now I really want one. With only 2k being produced I think this thing is going to have some serious resale value.

Whats the deal with you peeps and the 9K RPMs? If you want to get technical the F20 and F22 engines only really have a 500 rpm difference and its 9K RPM but hardly making any power up there so its pointless. I laugh how some of you know more than the ones who made the car. Get off the horse! As much as I don't like the looks of the CR it is a little more purified S2000 (it sounds hard to do) but some of the guys with AP1 and AP2 with the right aftermarket parts have reach or passed the level of the CR already so no biggy. Don't question Honda when they know what they are doing, now styling in the CR is bad IMO but some like it. What really matters has improved which is the chassis. Thanks.

Oh for those with learning disability the AP2 is slightly faster and most probably the CR is slightly faster than the standard AP2. Is it something big? NO, the driver can make up the difference.

Now all I need is to reduce a little more weight get lighter wheels and aero parts to create downforce and I got my CR but with soft top and leather.

Loco you want those rims??

Who said anything about 9k rpms? The f20c may only have a few hundred more rpms but it has a much better rod/stroke ratio meaning it has alot more potential to be a high rpm motor than an f22c. Plenty of time attack f20's rev to 10k and with the right cams it can make power all the way there.
