Hey guys! I used to have a '03 S2k but somethings came up to where I had to say goodbye to it. But now I am planning to get one again but I wanted to know what is the difference between the '04 and the '05?

in my personal opinion get back into an 00-03. As far as your question about the 04-05 there isnt much difference at all just minor things and engine wise the specs are about the same

2000-2003 Specs
Horsepower @ rpm 240 @ 8300
Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm) 153 @ 7500
Compression Ratio 11.0:1
Redline (rpm) 9000


2004-2005 Specs
Horsepower @ rpm (SAE net) 240 @ 7800
Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm) 162 @ 6500

I don't think there were any changes from MY2004 to MY2005.

 

Yea I couldn't see anything different but you know how every year there is some kind of change so I wondered. I am thinking my first mod will be the invidia exhaust, my friend has an EVO with the Invidia exhaust and I really like it. PLus i was reading about it here and saw the video with the difference and it is awesome!!

 

Don't get the Invidia, that is a horrible exhaust! Save your money and get something nice like a Top Secret, Amuse, J's, Fujitsubo, Toda... Just my 2 cents! I had the HKS which was nice but produced no gains. Oh yeah the AP2's, I find that I like the interior and exterior more than the AP1's. The only thing I don't like about the 06's is the seats!

 

Well I used to have to the APEXi and I liked it. Do you recommend that one?
