Thumbs up Test Pipe

Can a test pipe bolt right on to the oem headers/exhaust with out a problem?

and also which is better

straight pipe'ing..lol..sounds naughty

or

this which has like a small area or what ever you'd like to call it

yes, it will bolt right up to the oem and i would say get the straight one, i've heard that on the resonated ones, if they get wet in the rain when theyre hot, the welds will crack and break at the resonator

Yes they'll bolt to the header, as long as you don't get that cheap ebay shit.

Straight > *

Look into the Invidia test pipe, it's only $80 or something like that and that's what I'm using.

Get the straight one. I would use the Berk TP. They are a forum sponsor and NO CEL.

i 2nd the Berk TP.

I have it with my HKS...and no CEL in the year that I've had it so far.

The resonated testpipes are a little quieter and less ricey/raspy. I absolutely hated the sound of my car with a strait testpipe (with the supercharger and comptech exhaust), but I love my resonated pipe. On my old S2000, I loved the strait pipe on the stock exhaust. It's completely dependent on both your exhaust and personal preference.
