Definitely Brickell. The new river project that is coming up within the next 5 to 10 years is huge. There are ALOT of new loft and condo highrises coming up on both sides of the River which is only going to increase the value even more of what is now on Brickell. I work for a large law firm in downtown and have considered moving to Brickell myself simply because of the traffic.

IF YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THE PROPERTY ON THE WATER OFF BISCAYNE, IT MIGHT BE TEN MUSEUM PARK BY CHAD OPPENHIEM. IT SEEMS LIKE A NICE CONDO. I WOULD DEFINATELY CHOOSE BISCAYNE/BRICKELL OVER HALLANDALE, AND BRICKELL IS DEFINATELY THE FINANCIAL HEART FOR THE MIAMI AREA. BOTH YOUR CHOICES BETWEEN BISCAYNE AND BRICKELL OFFER THE HIGHEST YEILD RETURN FOR YOUR INVESTMENT. I WOULD SUGGEST MAKING A SHORT TRIP AND SEEING THE CONDO'S FOR YOURSELF, AND PERHAPS EVEN VISIT SOME OF THE LOCAL FINANCIAL FIRMS. AS SUCH, MY EXPERTISE GOES AS FAR AS WHICH HOUSE IS PRETTIER.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I work for a large firm in downtown, Carlton Fields. You can look us up at www.carltonfields.com. My firm has alot of connections with financial firms everywhere. I'd be more than happy to have you meet with us and try to point you in the right direction, possibly even get you some introductions. My boss is the major rainmaker for our firm so he's got connections EVERYWHERE!!!!

Let me know if I can be of any help.

I agree with Brickell. I live a couple building down from Skyline, almost moved there but decided for another apartment. There is a concentration of firms and banks on Brickell such as Mellon Bank, HSBC, Espirito Santo Bank, Citigroup Private Bank and others, that's your best option to live if you want to stay in that area and Brickell is appreciating like crazy, anything near the water will make money. Skyline is a nice building. I used to live in CA too and moved here 2 years ago and have no regrets. Let me know if you need any info.

Thanks for all of your help guys. I think that I am going to plan a trip to Miami for sometime in the next few months in order to start looking at potential jobs. Wish I could drive my car there maybe organize a drive, but not sure I want to drive cross country and put so many miles on my car.

By the way, are turbochargers legal in Florida? Because they aren't here.
