just wondering what peoples thoughts are on these intakes.. cheap cheap horsepower or marketing ploy?

I've got one.. i find i have a wee bit more throttle response and it surely makes my dual amuse sound louder

 

Any CAI will give you a better throttle response. Most give you better low end torque BUT drop off your high end HP. It's a tradeoff i guess.

The V2.. not sure.. maybe they solved the HP issue.

The stock airbox is designed very well, so not much will create an increase.

i'm using simota i don't know how much power it gave me but its fast three inch all the way.....beated alot of mod s2000 with branded intake and ...header ...no cat.... exhaust...give it a try i got it on ebay...for 100usd and 13 shipping
