Default Differential Fluid

Hey folks,

I went to part source today to get some oil for my next oil change that i am about to perform. While there i figured that i should change my differential fluid as well. I asked for Mobil 1 75W90 but they didn't have any but they did have castrol 75W90 which i was forced to buying as there was no other choice. What do you guys think??? I should i use this oil or return it and look around for Mobil 1 75W90??? Any input is appreciated.

Honda... use HONDA Diff Fluid.

Considering that majority of us do not "push" our vehicles (at least I know I dont ) every day for long periods at a time. Honda Diff Fluid should be sufficient enough because it is engineered specifically for everyday use (temperature and wear).

If you are deciding to go to a track and abuse the vehicle, I would suggest using MOTUL .

Just my two cents

hope that helps

So do you guys recommend 75W90 differential fluid or the Honda 80W90 differential fluid. I have read alot of mixed reviews about this. What do you guys think???

80W90 will have a slightly thicker viscosity. If you track I say it's ok. Honda recommends a straight 90W so if you're a little thinner on cold, I don't think you'll have any issues.

Both are fine

I hope that you are reserving some of that Amsoil diff fluid for me myflys2k.
I still see a question mark beside my name, but, I'll be there.

BTW Is this a rain or shine event?
Forecast for Saturday is rain, however, I don't put much faith into it as it is always a 50/50 chance of being correct.
