Help...
Well, Honda Canada, just called me back after two days of negotiations, as they decided not to help me at all. So I'm paying $300 for new strikers and now I want to change the clutch, so my new problem is deciding which one to go with, right now I have two that I'm considering, the Exedy Hyper single or Spoon.
bigg, unless you're going to supercharge or launch your car often the stock pressure plate is good enough for what you need. i had a choice to get an aftermarket pressure plate as well, but looking at the torque load rating on those plates is just overkill for a stock s2k. however, i would definitely put in a new friction disc (~$140 bucks from honda).
if you decide to do clutch work, instead of a spoon/exedy clutch pack, i think you'll be much better off putting that money into a lighter flywheel since the labour has already been done in taking out the transmission.
btw, i have an 01 spa that had the clutch buzz tsb. i replaced my friction disc with a new oem one and the buzz is now gone. didn't need to change the pressure plate. fyi
