If you had $500 to spend

I'd love to get Wes to work on my paint. I just don't know what I would do while he is working on the car as I'd be travelling from out of town and detailing work can take a few hours. I wish he had some M3 loaner cars, lol.

I'll vouch for the Gernby tune.
I got my FlashPro last summer and immediately got an e-tune done by Gernby.
Night and day difference. You will be very happy with the results.

Buy a bunch of good quality detailing products and learn how to do some detail work yourself.
That's what I did - I ended up learning with Mcguire's Ultimate Compound - it's not THAT aggressive so you won't ruin your paint if you're sensible. Just watch a couple of YouTube videos beforehand.
Now I have a whole bunch of detailing products and a clean looking car... Anytime I have to wash it/detail I can get it looking pretty minty in a fairly limited amount of time as it's just upkeep. Totally worth it to invest in some good detailing products.
And hey, I've found I actually enjoy detailing my car on Saturday/Sunday afternoon, it's kinda therapeutic

Ya I have a garage full of detailing products, my car is maintained very well. I just don't have the skill or resources to get a professional detail done on black paint. I would be looking to get all swirls removed and even minor scratches that may require wet sanding or heavy compounding.
I have used compounds/clay/wax on coloured paint and produced an excellent finish but black is very different. Even some waxes leave a filmy residue that looks bad on black cars.
