i know the s2000 is not the same as a porsche or whatever, but i really feel that the s2000 is more exotic then a carrera...

why i say this is b/c recently, a friend of mine got a carrera 4s... really nice car... believe you me, i would drive that car around with no hesitation... but the odd part is, i see more porsches, z3, slk's, etc then i do s2000...

for example... on my drive up to my g/f place today for dinner... i saw 3 carrera's, 2 z3's, 2 slk's, but no s2000!!!...

i had always wondered why people to this day still stare at my car when i pull up, but i guess this car is truly rare!!!...

i love it!!!... sorry to rant... just wanted to type!!...

You should be comparing the Carrera convertible.. I bet if Honda made a coupe version of the S there would be more of them out there. I don't see a lot of convertible Carrera's around.. Probably less than the S.

Yes, Porsches in Toronto are a dime a dozen. They are all over the place, but they are still high end sports cars. A Carrera 4S is bad ass. That's the one I'd buy.

But you're right, the S2000 is far rarer. At the Barrie Auto Show this past weekend, the S2000 had a bigger crowd around it than the new 350Z did.

With Porsche 993 Turbo prices coming down to pseudo reasonable levels, I'm going to try to swing one in the next couple of years. That is a true useable exotic.

Working at the corner of Yonge and Wellington, I couldn't agree more...I've been working at this location for almost 2 years and I've seen maybe 5 S2000's and countless Porsche's.
