If I get oil on the filter, which happens. Tighten it up a much as possible, hit it with some brake clean, wipe it down and let it dry and tighten to spec, you can usually get most of the turns with some oil, never a problem.

If I was near you, I would just come by with my oil pan, brake clean and some gloves and get it done in 10 minutes.

The guy put in 6.75 quarts. I think were talking 6 quarts here.

Would I drive the car? no but he's in a jam as he doesn't have the tools/items to do the job himself.

Sometimes I will tighten the filter as much as posdible, go for a 5 min drive to burn off any oily residue then retighten.

You can also drive up a Curb if you don't have a jack or stands.

Or use a rag to wipe the filter.

All you need to do is loosen the filter until it starts to drain and then wait for it to stop then tighten it up. The filter won't be covered in oil. If you use oem filters, but a honda oem filter tool and have a 17mm wrench you don't even have to touch the filter if it gets covered in oil.

If you want it done right do it yourself. No one will take as much time and care with your car as you do.

Happened to one of my customers at the dragon due to 3/4 qt overfill.

Unless it happened to two guys on the dragon:

Here's your incentive to not overfill

Screen name SB2007.

Customer decided to add and extra quart for the dragon, didnt check it first.

Upon measuring there was 6.75 quarts in the engine. top of piston and valves soaked with engine oil.
We don't know for sure unless we ask Billman, but I digress.
