painting my plastics on my car (prelude)
Anyone know a good paint/body shop that can help me paint the side mouldings of my car and the rear skirt of my car?
My friends recommanded me a few shops but I noticed that their paint is wearing off and I can already see their black plastic background. They were not cheap and quality is not good obviously.
Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like I will be painting a bit more than just my side mouldings!
Some punka$$ key'd my car today. I noticed a big white line across the driverside door.
Should I claim insurance?
It is a quite solid line, but not deep at all.
This is my first experience with such and event.
Help help help!
If I claim this, will my insurance go up? A poor student can only take so much!

I am looking for those OEM skirt pieces.
I am currently actually looking for after-market's OEM skirts, and then paint the sides all together.
Are you selling your items?!
If so, maybe we can work out something?
Perhaps I should email you later on?

ps: my car is a 2000 pearl black

Yeah I'll sell the pieces.
They are off the SH (which means they are not the OEM KIT, but rather the pieces that came off my SH (when I had it) to install the OEM kit pieces.
Obviously you would need these painted since the colors don't match up.
Feel free to email me taylor@wiredmotorsports.com
BTW, any claim on insurance has the possibility of raising it. Though things like comprehensive claims (stone chips in the windshield) don't seem to. I dunno what a key-job is considered. Check out www.autocosmetic.com, they're in Brampton, email Tony, tell him I told you to see what they could do. Their shop manager is an ex honda paint guy. They did a great job on my S2000. Perhaps they can fix the problem for less than your insurance deductible. Worth a shot.
In fact, I bet they could give you a pretty reasonable price on painting the skirt pieces too.
