ring type rattle from engine/transmission area
I was wondering if anyone has experenced this: when going full throttle, there is a high pitch rattle (almost like the sound a ring would make sliding down a metal poll) coming from the transmission area of the car starting at vtec to redline? could it be the clutch plate TSB? also, what causes abnormally load clicking from the engine wile idle?

This will usually stop the ringing from the shifter. You can hold the shifter and move it slightly to see if it stops the noise, first.
This will also make the shifts smoother and easier.
Good luck,
