Default Problem with central locking/ alarm

Hi all

Im having an issue with my 2009. The issue is the alarm/ locking system, it seems to want to re-lock itself no matter whether either of the doors have been opened or not, this is pretty worrying as it's only a matter of time until I lock myself out!

For example.......... the car is locked, I use the fob to unlock, open the drivers door and leave the door open, a few seconds later the car attempts to lock itself and re-arm the alarm!

Any ideas how I can prevent this?

Many thanks

Tom

Isn't this normal, if you turn the ign on then off again it should cancel the auto lock

I was having a read of the vast amount of paperwork which came with mine on Monday and one of the bits I read was the alarm manual. Assuming it hasn't changed (mines a 00') the re-lock should only occur after 30 seconds if you haven't entered the vehicle.
