Default Car speedometer not working, where to take it?

My speedometer keeps stopping from working after driving short distances. I tried checking the ground on the head (can't reach with tools but appears secured). Checked wires connecting modifry yellow box and they look secure and no error light when turning on ignition.

I would like to get this problem fixed as soon as possible, is this more of an Andy (2bigfors2k) or an LHT issue?

It's a yellow jacket issue, The unit has craped out or you need to ground the unit better. It needs to be ground to bare metal, the engine block or car frame. Grounding to the interior metal will not work well for the Yellow jacket.
Are you getting a EPS light?

Ok just checked today, my ground is attached to the bolt that holds the hood latch. Is this no good? I also have EPS light when key is in ignition and turned over but it turns off once car has started.

I had the same problem several times as what you are having. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it doesnt. Its the Yellow jacket. I had 2 of them go out on me. I ended up buying 2 after my 2nd one went bad so I would have a back up. Unfortunately the only way to fix it is to buy another unit. Doesnt make much sense to me because I work with electronics and since the problem was random it was hard for me to test what was not working

Does Modifry offer a warranty? I'd hate to have to drop another 60$ or whatever dollars on a new unit for it to go out on me after a few months again.
