No offense to anyone who is boosted (by SC or Turbo) but when I decide to go this route (college tuitions come first) i would go the Kraftwerks SC route.
Outside looking in all I ever hear about S2K's with Turbos are problem after problem, needing a tune etc.
If you are looking for reliable boosted power for a DD go with the SC.

FI creates problems no matter which route you go. Its all about how much power you want.
Any of the 'base' FI kits that make around 300whp are "reliable" in the sense that they don't require that much maint. But, there's a reason they're so "reliable" - they don't make much power. 300whp isn't really shit in the grand scheme of things when you're trying to fast. Actually, its not.
When you start putting smaller pulleys on SC's, you're going to get problems. When you start turning the boost up on Turbo's, you're going to get problems. Its the nature of the beast and its not for the weak hearted or light wallet'd (make up words much?). But once in a while when things actually run right, look the **** out...

Lucky you.
That is a goof one Joe. Until you put in the laughter I didn't know you weren't serious.
Bolt on kits usually are more reliable because they limit boost and they are engineered better. Custom kits usually have to go through a process to find little quirks. I drove Rob's car at mid 400s with no problems. It just needs a few tweeks and there shouldn't be any issues. Turbo heat sleeve, Downpipe wrap and under panel will make a huge difference. Stuff does break more the higher the horsepower. It is my experience thaty guys that want high horsepower drive their cars harder also. I'm not talking autocross I am talking 0-60 sprints or higher full throttle.
I have worked on Vortec, Kraftwerks, owned Comptech, and owned and worked on multiple different turbo kits and I like the Kraftwerks.
Nice install.
Doesn't block radiator air flow
Dependable blower
Decent power and as Joesph knows I have been working with peope cranking out a little more!
You want a kick in the pants drive Travis Latrell's Kraftwerks with 4.56 gears.

^^^ dick move LOL HAHAHAHA
I am going to defend Joe and say....
I have seen joe at many meets enjoying his blower and driving off without a care in the world...Spectacle, not so much.....
LOL, JK bro, you will get it dialed in and correct soon enough.
I would have to say SC is much more predictable and reliable than turbo

based on the OP's post:
experienced = turbo or supercharger
non experienced = supercharger
I have probably had more boosted setups than anyone in this forum, aside from shop owners with endless resources.
do your self a favor and pm Metcalfe, he works at LHT Performance in Pinellas Park. LHT has been doin this since 1996 I believe.
