Not a f@#king clue what you guys are talking about. However, my excel skills will pwn! LOL
Count me in on some karting action when I'm in town. I worked at RocketTown a couple of years ago teaching kids how to race karts and it was a blast! I know there's definitely interest in karting around Nashville with some plans for a karting club opening in Smyrna (IIRC), but it's going to be very expensive for a membership. I might be able to get in touch with the guy opening it, I spoke with him a bunch at the after-hours RocketTown kart meet.
I too have plans for an indoor track in Nashville within the next few years after graduating, so no one go anywhere!

If it has to be welded, you need to know if the frame is steel or aluminum. See if a magnet sticks.

Uhhhhh MIG welding is a very common method for welding aluminum. You just have to be using aluminum wire and 100% Argon.
If you were to try and take a MIG welder setup for Mild Steel with solid wire and a 80/20 Argon mix, yes you will definitely NOT be happy with the results.

Lol yeah i know....i used to do a little welding way back when at Lee Company....most people dont go into all that and just borrow a mig welder with copper in it and go at it....plus with tig i've always been able to get a cleaner weld on small parts
There is supposed to be a few at Twin Fountains this weekend, saturday I think, for test and tune. The following weekend is the first race. I'm at Roebling Road Raceway this weekend but will be checking out the other date and open house.

TIG welding was/is always my favorite but a decent GMAW setup is fun and can produce very nice welds as well.
