April 9th - Saturday, 10 AM. Our "Bluebonnet" drive!
Save the date: if you are interested in attending, ping me here and we'll send the details.
For this drive, we'll head west and north on some of our favorite roads as well as several roads that are brand new to our group.
Bring your camera because with the bluebonnets in full bloom this is going to be one of the most scenic drives we've had. And to answer your question, we won't be blowing by them - we'll be stopping at certain places to get pictures.
We'll start in Cedar Park, then west including Burnet (where you can make an early departure if needbe), Inks Lake and Kingsland, Llano (group lunch), and Willow City Loop. We'll end the day at 1323 and 281 south of Marble Falls. From there you can easily go to the north or south end of Austin.
This won't be a late day, you'll easily be home well before dinner, but we will ensure plenty of time for photography. The driving will be easy without too many turns.
Rain date (and remember last year at this time we used 2 of them) will be the following Saturday.
Thanks to Greg and Alison for checking out the roads. Greg will be leading the pack, I'll be navigating, and Alison & Alex will be half way back keep everybody on track.

Last chance to register for the drive this weekend. Send me a PM for details if you are interested.
Yes, it is Saturday, yes MotoGP is running. But you'll be back in Austin well before dinner, in plenty of time to get downtown.
It's also going to be a perfect day for a drive. And we've got a great route!

It went very well. We'll probably do this again next year, but in the meantime we have other drives and dinners.
We just got finished with a drive this past Saturday, and we are having our next dinner in July. So, you can hear about what the next drive will be like.
Send me a private message with your email so that I can send you the details next time,
Alex
