Have there been any community events set up by the community organizer, Ricky, in the past three or four months?

 

I believe the CO title refers to his responsibilities on the virtual Centex forum, not actual event planning...though I believe he did host at least one GTG at his house recently. Did you join just to start some BS?

Sorry, that's all I could do while holding a full time job requiring over 50% travel, finishing my last semester of university, and being an active member on the Board of Directors of the local AutoCross club.

And Chris is right -- the primary function of the CO is to moderate these forums. I've stressed this in the past -- ANYBODY can organize an event. Several folks have stepped up and organized various events since this summer. A lot of new blood in the group has helped with that, but it seems many of those folks are also busy with life happening lately.

And I am not "the" community organizer. I am ONE OF the community organizers here in the CenTex forums on S2ki. Stefan (svann) is the other.

I might have gotten off track, but what was the point of your post, exactly?

We have had quite a few events in the past 3 months. Mainly some of us getting together and bs over a few beers. Ricky did have a cookout at his place, Stefan put together a great drive in oct. There is always a Ricky and me at the local Autocross having a good time. If you want to do something post it up. Don't sit around and expect that the CO's do all the work. Pluse Ricky has been bussy, Stefan deals with the Austin group for the most part untill we have a larger gathering. Maybe after the new year and Ricky has some more free time he can plan a drive or something like that. Who knows. But don't be shy and if you wnat ot do something step up and say it.

I've lost all respect for this ass....he was never that mature in the first place, but he seems to be mentally regressing into pre-puberty. Must be the company he keeps!

 

HA HA HA....good call on the ghost of Blake. He must have been banned from a few other site so decided to come back here. Won't be long until banned again.

 

Good catch, Chris. I didn't even think about it being him again. I was just hoping to forget about him ever being here, but I guess that's just wishful thinking.
