It really is helping a lot. I'd rather do it right than have to worry about a lot of downtime. I don't mind waiting to install the kit. Who doesn't like seeing an increasing mound of parts for their car?? Lol. I was also looking into the FIC injectors. And the suby injectors are actually 440cc. I got the sane answer from posting them here and asking a suby guy here in town.

Sorry to hear about the injectors, but better now than on the dyno. The bosch stle injectors really are all that. Stock idle on a 900cc injector. I had a friend on mine drive the S on the aem base map and he couldn't tell I was on big injectors. If you get the FIC units, order directly from them. That way if you have any issues, you can deal directly with them. Their customer service has been outstanding with me.

Regarding your fuel return setup, you are going to need some fittings. Decide on whether you want hose barbs or an fittings. You'll save $$ using barbs, however an fittings are easier to remove/put back on. I used the summit brand push on hose and fittings-made life nice and easy. Don't forget to get a gauge for the FPR.

If you're not comfortable drilling the crank pulley, any machine shop can do it.

Make sure you have all the necessary feed and return line/fittings.

While you're waiting for your parts to come in, now would be a good time to drill/tape your oil pan. Believe me, you'll be so happy you did that ahead of time. I have a spare -8 cap if you need it. You might put in the fuel pump, but I'd wait till you can drop your fuel pressure. Do as much as you can in prep work/chipping at it. Every little bit helps cause things always pop with these types of projects.

Also, if you haven't done so recently, now is good time to do a leakdown, compression test, and valve lash adjustment. You need to know the health of your motor. If you don't have the tools, I have them.

It turns out my injectors are deatschwerks 650cc injectors, But i'll probably order the ID 1000cc or the FIC 900cc. If you could give me exact specs on the an hoses/fittings, I think I'm missing the oil return lines. I have a spare oil pan to drill to keep the downtime to a minimum. But I do want to knock away at the little things first. I am also trying to source an extra crank pulley as well. I ordered a brand new AEM 1052 from a vendor for an awesome price. I think i'll also order the ECT fix from modifry.

Even with 650cc injectors, at your power level, you need at least 750cc of flow and that still puts you at a dangerous duty cycle. You'd have to crank your fuel pressure to over 70psi just to get close. Another alternative is to use an external pump; that could increase your pressure to 90+psi. However, external pumps are noisy and you have to wire them up AND run custom fuel fittings.

Your oil return is a -8. I used summit push-on hose. You'll need a 90 swivel fitting and 3/8 npt to -8 adapter fitting as well. Make sure you get the push on fittings, not the typical hose barbs. Hose barbs won't fit. No clamp hoses are considerably less hassle and clean. You don't need anything for the SC side except a clmap. The push on hose fits great on the SC oil discharge nozzle.

I have the modifry fix. It's easy to wire in and works flawlessly.

Regarding fittings. Search ebay for s2000 fuel adapter. It will come in -6. You'll need a 90 or 120 degree fitting and a straight fitting to go from the adapter to your regulator. It'll depend on how you want to run your return. You'll have to look at IM and visualize where your return will be. You can use push on or braided hose. Push on ain't pretty, but works and is cheaper. I have enough -6 hose laying around you can use. I think from the regulator to the car you can use conventional fuel line. Check your fuel return hose to where it meets hard line. Make sure it's just a normal clamp. I changed mine out to long ago to remember. If it is, you'll just use a barb on the FPR. The regulator should come with hose fittings for that. Make sure it does.

Extra crank pulley, AEM EMS, and black ASP 4" pulley are coming in this week. I got a good price from Fullblown for some Bosch 1000cc injectors. Should I buy those or pay the extra for the ID's? And full blown has their FPR for $135, is that sufficient? I'll be ordering that fuel rail adaptor but the one's on ebay are from overseas. And the last time I ordered something from overseas, it took a month or so.. I'm currently looking for the hoses and fittings. Is the 3/8 to -8 fitting male or female on both sides, or male one side and female the other.

135...ouch. If you are comfortable drilling your fuel rail, you can just use a B&M FPR for 60 bucks and drill/tap the rail for 1/8 npt for the gauge. I got mine from amazon.com. That makes things quite a bit easier. You don't need the return fittings, heck you don't need ANY extra fittings for fuel. Just be sure to clean your rail very well after tapping it. It's not difficult at all to drill/tap, especially aluminum. Just use some cutting oil aka WD-40 when you are tapping. I strongly recommend this instead knowing the price alternative. I have this setup with no issues.

You don't need the ID brand as long as the injectors are designed for the S.

The oil return fitting for the oil pan is a male 3/8 npt to the male -8. For the oil return hose you want a 90 degree swivel push on fitting.

I have the taps if you need them.

I've looked on summit and jeg's websites and am not sure on which hose to get. I'm also not sure on the fittings. I've looked and am attributing it to the fact that I have no experience with any kinds of lines/fittings. I also called my tuner and he stated that he recommended the precision injectors but would work with whatever I got.

I would recommend the ID injectors. They run very smooth.

I just talked to two different tuners and they recommend the precision 1000cc injectors.

I have the bosch style injectors. Let's do a test; drive your car then mine back to back and then you can make a good judgement because what folks really enjoy about the new bosch injectors is their daily drive-ability. I'm still working on the tip-in but it's very very close so keep that in mind. Contact me and we can set something up.
