I was wondering who is considered the best Autocrosser/Road Racer in Central Texas Forum? Also would it be fun to set up a "Challenge" between the different regions best drivers? Has it been done? Opinions? Just a thought.

You do have to consider that some people might be quick in an autocross, but not so quick on a road course, or vice versa.

If you want to prove anything, bug the Speedventures guys (desert tortoise) to come over from CA and set up their transponder based timing gear. We talked some about doing an event this year, but getting a track date was problematic, IIRC.

jwfisher is our resident track instructor, who has many years of experience under his belt (Austin)

vtecing is really damn good. Smoothest of the smooth, ride an auto-cross course with him, its awesome. He is really fast at the track too (Austin, but hangs out in DFW alot)

Elistan is pretty darn quick too, only 1 level away from being in the "White" group =) (DFW)

I think Austin_S2000 is the up and coming rookie.

These guys are track junkies. You gotta get to the track to get good like these guys.
