I thought that the Lightning is suppose to stomp us. I raced one yesterday on 1960 going toward Humble and he couldn't catch me. We raced about three times and each time I won. Can someone explain.

We came up to a light and I knew he wanted to race because the light was green and he was still waiting at the light for me. So then I came to a complete stop, I heard his engine get louder and then we took off. It was weird because I was in front the whole time. We screamed up to 110mph on 1960.

Well I just wanted to see the input that I can get from you guys to see if this kill makes any sense. Anyways , it felt pretty good......

 

did he have Altezza clear tail lights?? the previous model had a little less power looked almost exactly the same except the tail lights were normal not cleared Altezzas.

i've raced my friends newer lighting.. their fast.. he got 13.6 w/ just intake. he has boost upgrade and he's running 12.7

this is right before running him at a houston meet after his boost upgrade.. haha Herb.. the dude hanging out the window didn't quite have the 3rd honk thing down..

 

Yes it did have Alteeza tail lights. It looked like the newest model becuase it had the new style headlights also.
