Hi all, I've finally come to submission and got myself an S2k. I purchased the car from a former member here (VenomS2k - Cory) in the Houston area. The deal was too good to pass up, so it is done. I've had the car a few weeks now, and have been lurking the site for even longer. I still wanted to make a quick post and let ya'll know i'm interested in meeting many of ya'll (meets, drives, etc...). I have many friends with S2k's, but have spent the last 5 years playing with Subarus, ...some of you may know me from my previous WRX and STi. I sold the recent STi and purchased a Lexus IS350, ...while it is great, I miss the sports car feel. So again, here I am. The car I purchased is an 01, Black, 61k miles; ...the previous owner had alot of cosmetic mods done to it, (I actually did car shows with him for many years, so felt even better about buying it from him). As the car sits now, it has alot of carbon (hood, trunk, replica Amuse lip, APR mirrors, Feel's rear diffusers, BYS intake cover and radiator shroud), Spoon flywheel, ACT clutch, HKS exhaust, KG/MM springs and a few other small goddies here and there. Anyway, I'm not the kind of guy to buy someone elses project, so i've already purchased a Seibon OEM CF lip, new CF mirrors (the current ones are badly faded), an Ebay CF center console and i'm already looking into a full repaint (minus the engine bay), and wheels/tires. The current bald tires on stockers aren't cutting it for me. I do have a few questions on the wheels and thier proper offsets, ...I posted a thread here https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=439269 if you could kindly post your thoughts. Anyhow, enough with the introduction, ...I hope to meet many of you all soon and am glad to be a part of a (new to me) S2k community.
