Radio Code Help
Im just curious... isn't the code supposed to stop thieves?? (not that anybody would want to steal a factory radio) so If the radio code is in the back of the radio... What's the point in having a code? Also.... Should the dealership really give you the code over the phone.

So did the trick work? I work at a local Honda dealership in parts. There is no way for us to get the radio code from vin #. Sometimes if we had the car in for service we will have the code on file. If you need the code just pm me and would be happy to give you the code.
I didn't get a chance to mess with it last night.
The code is not on the back of the unit, but there is a serial number that will allow a service department to look up the code.
The service advisor I called is the same guy I've dealt with for a while, so he didn't have a problem giving me the code over the phone - if I had the serial number.
Blaine, I'll try the trick from the other thread.
Potatohead, I'll PM you tomorrow if I can't find the code hidden somewhere on the body and if Blaine's tip doesn't work. Thanks for the offer.
