Hello fellow S2Kers, I'm in need of a summer internship. If anybody here works for a company which is hiring interns, could you help me out? I can email my resume if there are positions available. I'm looking for an internship around the DFW area, but will relocate if need be.

I'm currently an undergraduate at the University of Virginia pursuing a major in Mechanical Engineering and Finance.

Nice! ME with Finance. Nice mix. Have you tried the automotive companies like Porsche in GA, BMW in AL, VW in Tenn, Honda in OH, Big 3 in Detroit? Might as well be around something fun.

Or look into manufacturing of large components? I used to work for Flowserve (www.flowserve.com)?

Companies like this? I "think" you can look up publicly traded companies stock market symbol and at times they can list competitors and you can apply to competitors also.

Finally, DEFINITELY try to connect with people via LinkedIn.
