Default Need Some Help

So now that I have a few parts for my S2k, I was wondering if anyone in the area could help with the install of my Valentine One and with the Defi-Link and related gauges. I also need to know what else I need to get the gauges working, any adapters, etc.

From the Jeep club, we used to have Wrench-A-Thon's (WAT's) where a bunch of us will go to one persons house, all throw in for some beer and food, and just work on everyone's cars. Dunno if anything like that happens around here for the S2k though. I have some lowering springs and an APEX'i VAFC-II as well to be installed.

Anyone htat can help, lemme know when/where/cost. I'm in Little Elm (just west of Frisco), if that helps.

Gauge install would be pretty easy... we should set something like this up because I would REALLY like to clear my headlights but am too nervous to do it myself.

Well, I have a pretty decent garage and tool set, and can go get anything I don't have. And there's a br and pool table in the gameroom, 50" TV in the living room, so we can have some fun after the installs, too.

Also, I think I should do the stereo install myself. Is there any major reason not to do it? I've installed a lot of stereos, just a little hesitant to keeping the factory fit and finish. I'm just installing a HU, door speakers, stealthbox and amp, so its nothing wild or extreme.

Stereo install is pretty simple for the most part... shouldn't have any problem installing it yourself.

I'd be willing to help. Not a mechanic, but I've done a fair amount of tinkering on my S, including a VAFC and coilovers (too many times!).

do you plan to put the tweeter in the stock location or near the midbass?

Ok, I have the Stereo parts, except for the wires, which should arrive Friday from KnuKonceptz. Just waiting on the VAFC-II and the Defi Gauges.

The big question now: Who's up for an install day, and when?
