Where are you at in Little Elm. I have a friend that lives behind Lowes. There is a nice NFR over there I've seen a few times.
I'm also behind the Lowe's. I'm just past the High School on Walker Lane (I can see the school from by bedroom window). Maybe 3 minutes from Lowe's at most.

I haven't seen an NFR one, there is a yellow one I spot on Dallas Tollway a bit though.

A little trick I learned from the service guys is to Close up the car (top/windows/doors) and let the heater run at full blast for about 10minutes and the interior panels pop right off without any fuss. Should help you stay out of the parts. depts looking to replace broken clips.
The HU install is super easy on the AP2. Are you planning on keeping the Remote Stereo controls? Seems like you're already tinkering with your car - sounds fun.

Oh yeah, you gotta tinker. I do plan on keeping the dash controls, I have the Modifry DCI in the stack already. I'm sure Saturday's are busy day for you at work, but if you end up not working, cruise over, should be fun.

Ha! Not working? What language is that? I'm moving and I still need to pack so I'm out on most things this month. Maybe next time.

Assuming its at my place, most any weekend will work great. I have all the Stereo parts, except for the wires, which arrive the 20th.

Depending on what we feel like accom;ishing, I also have an Apex'i VAFC-II to install, mainly the PnP Harness for it though. The V1 remote display came in, and I know where I want to put it, little things like that.

Also have lowering springs to throw in.

Anyway, I was thinking maybe the 25th of Feb or the 11th of March. I have a prior engagement on the 4th of March. Sundays are fine with me as well, although the 5th is also not a good weekend. Lets find a date, and I can plan on getting some food for us all. I've got a decent sized grill, or if the weather sucks, we can just order pizza or something.

Oh, and what beer do I need to have on hand?? lol.
I did a VAFC1 on my turbo civic a few years ago and it's pretty easy depending on the ECU location but i'm 6'0" and too skinny so I fit in just about any footwell easily

Did you guys have to buy an aftermarket piece for those eclipse/alpine HU's to keep dash control using the paddles?

I think I'm gonna change the factory hu out so we can use a true preamp out and also change the amp in my gf's car to a 4 channel so it powers all 4 infinity speakers and has ipod access for aux in.

I'm in carrollton about 20 mins down I35 from little elm.

Be sure to hook up the speed volume mod; I didn't think I'd want it so left it out at first, but after hooking it up I have to say it's the best stereo mod I've done

The aftermarket piece is by Modifry (he's a member here on the forum). I bought it from our marketplace: http://www.gofastlab.com/s2ki/product.php?...5&cat=40&page=1

And a quick membership plug: you save $22.50 on this piece, and membership is only $35/year.

Anyway, he has some that are wired to the HU, and some that basically mimic the wireless remote. I'm using the wireless remote version.
