Oops
With so much love for the S, I thought I'd share this truly sad story with y'all. When the sales person, we'll call him Richard (aka Dick), was showing me the S2000, he had me lower the top. Well, on the way down, I heard the electric motor binding on something like it was stuck so I stopped pushing the button. Dick went around to the passenger side of the car and pushed down on the top, to help the motor along saying something like, "Wow, this top has never even been lowered yet. This is normal upon the first use." Dick pushed down so hard that the fastener on the passenger side pushed right through the top! He damaged the top on a brand new S2000... an S with 5 miles already going to the shop. I thought I was going to cry seeing this beautiful car damaged. He had the nerve to try to blame me for pulling the button but I had stopped pulling back on the button the moment I heard it binding; he is the one that pushed down on the top.
Can we have a moment of silence for that S.
