No - but you get the lovely smell of burnt clutch plates. ...just don't ask how I know...

Yeah but it takes off ok and stops it bogging. Depends on the tyres. The goodyears hook up well

Or if you have an aftermarket clutch a snapped drive shaft or worse

Does 0-60 ever really matter apart from being a comparison between cars and their ability to accelerate.

After all, does anyone actually race from 0-60 - it's normally laps, or a 1/4 mile drag (amongst others)

It's useful off the start line! Although you tend to go past 60.
