... my daily commute to Darlington from Newcastle is getting me 320 miles from a tank - I'm limited to c. 60-70mph tho' and with the hood up in most of the rain we've been having, it's too bloody noisy to go faster!!!!!

... but a bit of high rev' activity at the weekends gets about 200 miles from a tank!!

Hmmm.

Filled up part-full yesterday (but no new Top Trumps chiz). 35 litres for 190 miles, 25 mpg. Trouble is my daily drive is mostly twisties for 10 miles with 3 'cut her loose' bits. Balancing on the throttle most of the way and trying to minimise braking except for setting up is irrisistable most days. I recall my Dad extolling the praise of engine braking in the days of drum brakes. Not with brakes like these and with new engines/transmissions so much costlier than discs and pads.

Yes, and more. The recent op, was ligament, to repair an older repair that was failing.

Bad luck, I had ACL reconstruction a few years back. Its been holding up well. Hope the lastest op fixed the lot for you.

Kinda brings everything into perspective for me,
Lousy dealer, lousy repair job on S2000 is nothing as bad as a lousy doc performing a lousy repair job on yourself.

Still searching for a PDR guy for my hardtop.

I get roughly that much, but I normally dont run it dry so I can't give an "accurate" total.
