Default ABS light on

Hello
I have a 04 facelift there weeks ago the light came on after I had stopped and came back to the car to start it illuminated.
There had been no hard braking incidents.
The sensor has been off for testing and the company used by the garage was not able to confirm a fault with the module.
The four ABS sensors have been checked and all are working.
I am now unsure what to do either go to Honda or opt for a second-hand unit.
I have the part number again I would assume can I use another module with a different part number apart from S2AA6
The second part of the number is 3S21-6966-2AAAA or does it have to be exactly the same.
Any suggestions.

I had a similar problem and had the same question. I was recommended to see if the module could be rebuilt. When I searched on the net I found several places that rebuild certain models but not ours. However there was a place but it was in the UK. I live in the states. I opted to searching on Ebay and I found the exact model number character for character. I wasn't crazy about the price so I was able to bid it down about 25 bucks. I know it doesn't directly answer your question but I hope this helps.

Also one of the things I was told is that one of the differences in models is how the holes line up for the brake lines. I suspect the electrical pin lineup may be different as well but I don't know. Perhaps someone else can chime in.
