Advise needed

I’ve got some new component front speakers with their own crossover, my question is do I need to wire them back to the head unit ?

No - you can use the exising wires, just make sure you use the feed that goes to the existing midbass speaker to feed the input to the crossover

You can buy little adaptors from a popular online auction site that plug into the factory harness, this saves you having to cut the Honda plugs off and makes it easier to return to stock.
