Default Annoying Rattle

All,

Has anybody here had a metalic rattling noise that sounds like it's coming from behind the dash in the passenger footwell? Seems to kick in above 60mph and gets louder the faster you go. I know that sounds can appear to come from strange places in the S, and as such have checked the roof latches but they all seem fine. Had the missus stick her head in the footwell whilst I was driving about on Sat, and she seemed to think it was coming from behind the dash.

Also, saw a Blue S, AE02 *** driving about at Silverstone (Britcar 24hr event) on Sat. Anybody on here?

Cheers

Coxy

Why don't you try the supplier anyway - I've had things turn up with missing bits before and they've just been sent out

Check it's not the mirror. See if the rattle stops when you grab hold of it. Mine always sounded as if the rattle was behind the stereo

I had the same sound last week, it turned out to be a small washer that was bouncing on a thin steel cable under the front of the passenger seat. Reach under and see if any of them are loose on the cable.
