Default Another CEL topic

Hi guys, had a topic about my CEL light giving the code P0420, as I have a Decat in it's kinda common! The CEL
Normally comes on when am Doing 60mph

But tonight when on the motorway, the light switched itself off! After a bit of hard driving light hasn't come back! I booked my car in to get a sport cat fitted next Tuesday!

CEL hasn't come back, but anyone experience this before? Cheers

CEL can go away if the fault comes back into parameters within a given time. In your case you must have has a sustained blip in emissions from the secondary sensor, which has gone away. Normally a few miles of normal readings will make it go away.

I would just fit a lambda spacer rather than a sports cat. They are still quite restrictive.

I have a garage R decat on my car with the built in cel fix, but has also thrown the cel light. Is it advisable to add on another cel fix spacer to try and fool the sensor? And where would i get one from??

had it checked by honda and it is the decat thats put the light on, i have also thought about getting a hifgh flow cat, but dont really want to.

Could do, although i bought it off somebody else on here.
And after reading into it a bit more, found out that the later drive by wire models like mine usually still activate the light
