Anyone any experience with ramps
I see these rhino ramps are popular and supposedly good for lower cars. Anyone tried them?
I'm being lazy thinking I could drive on and then just lift the rear with the jack to do stuff like gearbox oil where it needs to be level

I have the metal type, cant drive up on em but the rhino might be low enough to allow that. Of course if they're too low you cant get under the car. Also you have to weight behind them or else you just push them around with the car.

I looked at these then opted for a 55cm (lift height) / 3 tonne SGS jack, that can lift the rear jacking point. That gets me up to 55cm in one go without faffing with ramps. I then just stick the axle stands under the sills.
For the front, I can actually get the jack under the front jacking point by turning the wheels and squeezing it in from the side under the wheel arch.
Can get the car up to 55cm in a few minutes - plenty room for anything.

I have shit access in the garage so I have to jack each side at the front
(Single garage)
I suppose outside I could do it on the drive but my neighbours are nosey and it's always raining ATM
Need to service both cars over the next few months.. gearbox oil I will need a drip tray on drive. Always spill it lol
already got a low entry jack

£49.49 ramps?
20 minutes work with scrap shelving gets my car high enough to get a jack under either of the mid-jack points or to slide my E-Z Lift under.
Prowl your neighborhood on trash days. Someone is throwing wood shelves away. I think these are about 1-3/4" lift. Board thickness can be increased.

You can see my issue, to get the jack under reaching solid.. I suppose I could jack on the outer jack points. Maybe it's just a habit. That might work.
Anyways, she is high enough to do this job I guess

Where are you going to put the jack-stand that's sitting next to the car -- the jack is using the jack/jack-stand point right now. No room to put the jack at the front-central jacking point? That will reveal points for jack-stands on both sides of the car. Repeat at the rear if 4 jack-stands are desired.
