Default Anyone fitted rigid subframe collars

I am in the process of removing the subframes for complete overhaul, have already sheared a couple of small bolts, and cannot get the lower steering UJ bolt undone
but i did expect some bolts to be seized, really hoping the subframe bolts come out.

Is there any real benefit of fitting the rigid collars when refitting the subframes

Tempting aren't they ? especially if you can still get the deal at Burn! Motorsports https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/110...rigid-collars/

A nice review here https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/103...-on-stock-ap2/

Hi, offer is still available for now.

MB has them fitted to his race car. I know I am bias but I have them fitted on all my cars including my wife's Fiat 500. She was going to sell it before they were installed and couldn't believe the difference they made, so she kept it.

I had them fitted nearly 2 years ago on mine .

A mechanic friend of mine has actually shown me the scuffing that goes on between a subframe and the shell during use .

I've also read somewhere that subframe movement is why cars feel soft and worn out at higher mileages .

However , as I have my alignment done every 2 years or so I cannot say that having them fitted makes a difference .

But if your having your subframes off it makes sense to have them fitted !

Fitted similar thing on the Aerodeck made a noticeable difference to the crappy fixing design.

Probably true - but if you GAF about NVH, why not replace with OEM?
