Default Ap1 and Ap2 valve retainers

Does anybody know if the UK 2005 engines were given the better valve retainers like the 2.2 engines have.

Quite likely, I belive they were given the thicker harder valve stems, have a check on lings see if the part number changes.

Yep, from 2004 onwards they have the thicker retainers

I believe this to be true of 04> engines. Perhaps a little more protection against over revving.
