^ Gets old reading the "lol its an AP1 not an AP2" type replies on every other thread.

Facelift diff's are Upgraded? I was under the impression they're all the same :/
They are but seeing as the OP refers to AP1 Facelift rather than MY04+ speaks volumes on his knowledge of the S2000

Instead of all these snarky comments, why not just help the guy out? You know what he meant.

I do hope that wasn't aimed at me. I was just querying the facelift diff being upgraded. Nothing smarmy about it.

There are no differences between differentials. They are however built on a budget and uprating power will cause failures.

A quick look at Lings site reveals different part numbers but the same pfk number, which indicates they are the same

MY02: http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda...block_03=19250
MY05: http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda...block_03=23878

Same price, too.

Thank you for the info, might as well get another diff to build with a 4.44 rather than change the internals on the existing one. Then when the clutch needs doing get rid of the CDV as well.

It only has 50k now and i bought the car with 35k in July last year. I have already done 2 oil changes in the gearbox and diff since i got the car. For the price of the work and oil why would you not get it done if there is a chance it may last a bit longer.
