I am looking for a suitable clock to install in the S. Does anyone know of any backlit versions? Ideally I would like it to be orange or red to match with the dash.

p.s b4 anyone says 'have you tried doing a search' , thats where i have just been for the last 20 minutes! Most references were to battery powered stick on versions (like the one from Hellfords). I am ideally looking for a hard wirable solution.

 

I got a black one (green backlight) from halfords and have it glued above the interior light where the roof comes down.
Less than a tenner IIRC.

I wired it up so it only lights up when the ignition is on (the clock has a darkness sensor so only lights up when it starts to get dark). It also has a temperature gauge. The wires run along inside the windscreen frame so you can't see them.

I saw the pics on one of the previous threads, didn't realise that it was backlit, would still prefer to find one with a red or orange backlit as I am intending to change the aircon and mute lights to match as well.

Will take a trip to hellfords and check it out

Never been concerned about lack of clock..
BUT
I notice that my Origin B2 (arrived this am) has one and it's backlit.
So...an answer to a problem that didn't exist
