75W90 GL5 (never could find the GL5!)

I used some Castrol in the end - no bother and the car got a good hiding.

My handbook says hypoid 90, I have just changed my diff oil and the parts guy gave me a litre of Shell ep80/90 (which they use in the service bays) and that has sorted the moaning noises my diff was making, now all quiet.

Cheers.....Tony..

I've used Motul PA90 (or something like that1?) for ages and my diff hasn't fallen out in pieces.
