Best place to get a HEADLIGHT washer pump other than Honda

As far as I'm aware, you don't need it for the MOT. I got annoyed with it dribbling up the bonnet when I washed the windscreen, so removed the fuse. Passed the MOT in that state a fortnight ago!

From what I understand from March, 2013 onwards if you've got headlight washers they must work & are part of the MOT hence me needing to get this sorted.

Rich, been on eBay & as mentioned above breakers are looking for £40 for a 2002-2003 unit which I'm not prepared to pay as I could be in the same position again in 3 months time

Could you remove the guts of the oe pump and then fit a readily available pump in line after the oe to supply the washers?

Yes thats right. If fitted they must be functioning or its an MOT fail.

It seems my windscreen jets have stopped working and I hear nothing at all when I pull the arm to spray it...Need to check if its a fuse or whether its the pump itself. Good to know halfords do them for a fiver!
