I've just had a set of these delivered in carbon fibre finish. I'll let you all know how I get on with the fitting, they look great quality though for the record!

Well in my opinion the fit is worse than shit!

I went to pair up the brackets as per the instructions and how GavB has done them and the angle is MILES out.

So I tried flipping the bracket over and then the damper cylinder hit the wing drains so I tried reversing the damper as well and the damper fouls on the bulkhead.

I also tried them like this

At a loss at the moment what to do apart from ask for a refund...unless I'm doing something blindingly obvious that's wrong?

The couple of cars I have seen with these has left me feeling that i should ask the question why.

They just all seemed horrible in the way they sort of fit and i am dammed if i can see any real purpose . I am sure some one will correct my thinking on this.

But maybe its my age, the prop seems to work just fine so why change it, or is it just a bit of bling for when one is admiring the rest of ones under bonnet bling !

The ramblings of an old git,

I have the Tein ones and the fit is spot on, all so allows for a bit better access to the lump and looks cool at the same time a win win situation.

Well I kind of agree...although the twig doesn't fit over my new intake so I kind of had to get them

They are quite expensive though Nick! My ebay specials were somewhere between £40-£50, they required a bit of adjusting and stupidly the left strut was labelled as the right one and vice wersa but I'm happy with them for the price. Don't get me wrong, I would love Tein struts but I can't justify the £120 for them.

Im on my phone but google images brings up lots of pics of them fitted. I believe the ebay ones can rust though as they aren't stainless?
